Jeremiah Bosgang, Executive Director of Long Island’s Sands Point Preserve Conservancy, has previously served as an executive at broadcast and cable television networks and production companies as well as a creative in theatre, film and television.
In these capacities, he has regularly hired and supervised teams to produce groundbreaking, award-winning content across multi-platforms targeted at varying demographics.
Prior to becoming the non-profit Conservancy’s Executive Director, he was the Sands Point Preserve’s Film & Television Production Manager, in which capacity he oversaw all media production that took place on location at the 200+ acre facility.
A proven growth-nurturing collaborator, Bosgang has consistently demonstrated an ability to create organizational structure and lead creative teams to achieve their strategic objectives within it.
As a network executive, his credits include developing “Seinfeld” at NBC and “Martin” at FBC and serving as VP Development at MTV, SVP Programming at FX and SVP Programming & Acquisitions at Madison Square Garden Networks.
As a studio/production company executive, Jeremiah’s positions include EVP Creative at The Howard Stern Production Company and EVP Television at Sony BMG Music Entertainment.
On the creative side, he has written for “Saturday Night Live”, “In Living Color” and has Co-created and Executive Produced “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” at Fox Sports Net, “Howard Stern: The High School Years” at Spike and “Pros & Cons” starring Chris Hansen at Tribune Media.
As a performer, Jeremiah toured with Chicago’s Second City. He also wrote, produced and directed the New York Comedy Film Festival “Best Feature” Award-winning indie “Good Money” and produced the original musical “Having It Almost” at the New York Musical Theatre Festival.
Jeremiah holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Chicago and certification from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management Executive Program.
