Stroll through the native blooms behind Hempstead House, then settle into the garden for an engaging conversation about poetry and the natural world, with speakers from The Story Round. Featuring works by Mary Oliver, Ada Limon, Robert Frost, and Walt Whitman, this program looks at how poets use landscapes and flowers to express emotion. Together, we’ll read, reflect, and discover how the language of poetry can deepen the way we see what’s growing all around us.
